Below is an example of a typical property as paid for by a major insurance carrier. These are not Bert Roofing Prices but are a guide and should be used as a benchmark. While Bert Roofing will almost always meet these prices, we often can do better when needed. Price is only one of many factors that should be considered as the scope and quality of job bid will vary greatly from contractor to contractor.
Below are Texas prices that are significantly below the national average. Texas has no licensing and huge population of low end contractors that keep prices in this market very low, even for quality contractors doing things the right way.

Turbines at around $90.00 each are also a very common item not shown above. Not shown in the example above is the depreciation and deductible that would be included in a typical insurance claim.
Insurance prices are driven by a software / database called Xactimate. Read our Insurance FAQ Page for more.
The example left is an insurance claim. The out of pocket cost to the homeowner is the same even if the calculation for replacement varues. That cost is your deductible.
Paying your deductible is part of a legal contract between you and your insurance provider. The deductible is the first dollars spent and anything over that amount is the obligation of the insurance provider.
Unfortunately, there are many unscrupulous contractors that do not follow the rules. They are low on quality and low on price. They often offer a coupon or and advertising allowance for a yard sign to "cover" the deductible. Not only is this a violation of your insurance contract, it is fraud in the State of Texas.
