Bert Roofing Wins 2013 NTRCA Golden Hammer Award
Earlier today, the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association announced Dallas based Bert Roofing Inc. as a 2013 Winner of a “Golden Hammer Award” for “Outstanding Residential Project” in 2013. This is the sixth time Bert Roofing has won a Golden Hammer award for Outstanding Residential Project which is more than any other contractor. The award is given for uniqueness and/ or technical difficulty on a residential property.
The 2013 project involved the removal of an extraordinarily heavy cement tile roof on a zero lot line property. Removing the heavy tile without causing great property damage was a challenge. After the tile was removed, decking with radiant barrier and an Energy Star roof was installed. The Energy Star CertainTeed Solaris shingle is also an Impact Resistant product.
In prior years Bert Roofing has also won multiple Golden Hammer Awards for Community Service.
